A few weeks back I mentioned my fight to save a couple of the support
warehouses for the Holabird Vehicle Testing Track. I have some good news
regarding my efforts to save them from demolition. The city of Baltimore
has agreed to donate one of the warehouses if I remove the structure from
the land they want to develop. Not the ideal solution (which would have
been to leave it on the property it was built on), but it at least allows
for this historic building to live on in another location.
I put together a few web pages describing the history and the support
warehouses. They can be seen at:

To save this building, I need as much help as I can get and I am hoping to
rally a group of people in the documentation and careful dismantling of the
building. This is going to be a big task. The warehouses are located in
Baltimore, MD. If anyone is interested in helping out in anyway to preserve
this very historic building, please let me know. Any help (no matter how
small) would help out a lot! A list of the type of help I need is on one of
the web pages.
Thanks.
