Stuart, The big glowbar resistor seldom ever goes bad. Yes, you will have
24 volts there until the relay is in the ON position. Going into another
area, you can always tell that you have an OPEN somewhere because the
voltage shoots up sky high. Until that relay closes and the circuit loads
down, you will have the higher voltage at that point. Julian
