Oops, sorry!
Don't pull the front end sideways,........ but if you
don't do that you have no need for the rollers on the
side of the cable opening.
I think what you're looking for is called a fairlead,
rollers on top and sides of the opening for the cable,
some have rollers on top and bottom and pulleys on the
sides. Of course, all of this needs to be mounted
very solidly to the bumper.
The manual shows at least 20 feet to the snatch block
and tells of the importance of the angle to each side
of centerline of the truck. What will happen here is
that, even with the rollers, the cable won't wind
"flat" on the drum, it will pile up on one side and
jam against the top and bottom covers of the winch.
That's why some of the sheetmetal on the winch is bent
outwards.
Its important to have the cable wind flat on the drum,
if it doesn't it will snap into the space between the
lower layers of cable and jam solidly there. This
will cause a kink when its pulled free, which takes a
lot to do. It also causes a lot of abrasion on the
cable.
Hope this helps.
