Esteemed listers;

My M107 was driven the first time Sat to over the road, t0 a veterans day
parade and I found this problem. At speed in excess of 35MPH it develops a
front wheel shimmy that gets more voilent as speed increases, looking at
right front wheel as the shimmying is taking place there as a very visible
right to left swift motion that is transmitted to steering wheel. Wheels
are clean and not warped. I have looked at tie rods and they seem to be
tight.

I have a CJ2 that did this once and I rebuild bell crank and it cured it but
I look at the bell crank on M170 and it appears to be tight where the one on
old CJ was loose

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated

Everette
