not sure about the shop vac not drawing the fuel but...
when installing the 6.2 lift pump you have to be VERY CAREFUL of the push rod
that works it.
i have had 2 blazers come in that looked good till uncle robed parts (both low
mile trucks).
they robed parts because the truck wouldn't run. they wouldn't run because the
lift pump didn't work.
the lift pump didn't work because the push rod was broken in 1 truck, and in the
other the push rod
had broken the web in the block where it is supposed to ride.
truck 1 was an easy fix. truck 2 still needs a motor.
