I've been using the Marine dual purpose batteries (deep discharge&cranking)
from
Sam's Club for quite a while in low use vehicles. I've found that you can
really abuse those batteries and they still live. They seem to have a very
low
discharge rate when not being used, so even after months of just sitting,
they
still crank over the engine. I have put them in all of my low use vehicles.
Standard batteries, I have found is a huge waste of money unless you use the
vehicles at least once per week. The marine batteries seem to last about 4
years in low use situations.
