Thanks to Jim Webster, Eugene Pantano, Mike Narona, Sam Hamilton and other
listers for the messages and wishes that they sent after my MUTT and I got
out without getting hurt in the gunfire and shelling that erupted in the
town where I worked last week.
I had not realized-until I read Mike's message that I had used my HMV in an
actual combat situation!
In fact, I would be the last person to risk my M151 getting shot at or
damaged in shelling. Well, no none anticipated that the town would be
attacked and when it was, I regretted having the MUTT with me because I
could not abandon it behind when I had to evacuate!
The U.N. has not authorised our return yet. Now that I have learnt my
lesson, I am not going to take my MUTT along with me when I go back in. It
will be safely tucked away in a place far away from battle zone. You see,
it shows that I value my MUTT- more than my life!!
Again thanks everybody!
Cheers
