Arthur & My Dear List Friends,
I don't know why Arthur has not put in an appearance recently. I can only suggest that pressing business has taken him elsewhere. I can certainly remember a time when his active involvement with the Mil-veh list would have produced some stern warnings about recent content on the list.
I have had ENOUGH of the off-topic, profane mutterings of a few of the list subscribers, and think it time to speak up.
This is the Military Vehicle list.
Period.
Personal attacks, politics, profane indictments, etc. NEED TO GO ELSEWHERE!
Arthur, I am sorry to usurp your authority, but in your absence, this needs to be said. If you are unable to moderate this list due to other concerns, I will volunteer my services. I will put a stop to this petty bickering among people whom I consider to be my friends and comrades-in-arms.
