If you have the firewall (regulator mount) fuel filter, it is probably the
hoses that lead up to it... they go porous and let air in ... Run a line
from your spare gas can into the fuel pump and see it it cures the problem...
I ran a WC54 for years with a gas can on the roof and gravity fed the carb
when the pump finally quit.... The M37 pump is a 2 stage military pump, but
an old power wagon pump will fit with or without windshield washer vacuum
booster.... RAM
