Just to really confuse the "haven't been there yet" types - Beltring
doesn't really exist! That name is another one of those peculiarly
British traits. It is my understanding that it refers to the hamlet that
used to occupy part of the space that the "Hop Farm" now does.
The Hop Farm being the venue for "The War and Peace Show" aka
"Beltring".
Just try and find "Beltring" on a map - go on.............
The Pom's don't tend to abreviate everything like the yanks do but use
alternative or "popular" names instead, other examples are:
Sarrycan instead of Saracen
Stolly instead of Stalwart
Salad-bin instead of Saladin
Trouble and strife instead of wife.
So it goes on. Or perhaps it is all done just to confuse "Johnny
foreigner"?

Take heed, he is not exagerating.

Correct, day passes (cheapest after 9.30am) are good.
If in London, whatever you do DO NOT MISS THE SCIENCE MUSEUM.

I have never understood this problem. My Greyhound is LHD and the
gearshift pattern is actually backwards as well as on the wrong side,
from an Australian perspective. No-one who has driven it has yet had
a nervous breakdown because they had to use their other hand, human
beings are adabtable by nature.

Snicker: AND totally adapted after the first 3 days. They breed the
damn things in England (cheaper than traffic lights)!

That conduct will attract the attention of Her Majesty's finest.

Been there done that and he is spot on (he saw ours and we told him
what it cost). Think small, say 1/6 the space of a Winnebago. You will
understand why when you try and find a place to park the damn thing.
We made the mistake of buying lunch ingredients at a supermarket in
the south east of England and thought we would then go and park by
the seashore and eat lunch. 40 miles later we ended up at a Nuclear
power station on the SE tip of the UK (Dungness), you could park
there (no-one wants to be anywhere near the thing).
Between the supermarket and
there ALL the parking bays had height bars to stop camper vans and
caravans getting in. So why not park in the street I hear you ask?
Simple, you can't! There isn't any parking spaces. You won't believe
me till you see it for yourself....................................

This is Richard's way of extracting revenge for the Boston tea party.
