My brother is attempting to place the cab back on his
1945 WC-51. When he aquired the vehicle the cab was
not attached so he wanted me to ask you great minds
a question. When he places the cab back on the frame,
the back mounts fine, but the front looks to be missing
a spacer of some sort. Can anyone help us out and
tell us what goes there? Wood block? And what size
is it? Also, was leather used as a pad between the cab
and frame, or rubber, or what? If you can at least point
me in the correct direction where I may find the answer,
that would be great. This is a ground up restoration and
he's really anxious to get the cab on the finished frame!!
