I took my M139 bridge truck -- approx 32000# and 602 cid gas continental
engine.
Pulled between small tractors and large tractors -- they had sled loaded for
big tractors.
Let me tell you now this was my first pull.
Friend of mine had radio that let him listen to coversation between sled
operator and flagman -- he told flagman he did not need to get far down the
track for the sled was set where I could not pull it far.
I put truck in low range,first gear, all wheel drive let out on clutch ran
RPMS to about 1800. Pulled sled all the way to the end. Never spun a tire,
RPMS never dropped below 1600.
Spectators loved it - tractor owners did not think was so funny
They would not let me pull again - was going to take my M123a1 next time.
