I thought the M35A3 used the same air assist system that's available as an
upgrade to the earlier M35s. I remain unimpressed with the air assist. It
feels nice to drive but I think it puts too much strain on the tie rod. The
instructions tell you to adjust the tie rod ends in opposite directions so
that the tie rod is no longer able to rotate on it's axis. The best system is
hydraulic with a ram assist on the passenger side like the M809 steering.
