For what its worth to my MV friends:
Our local food shelf requested help by people with trucks
to pick up palletized surplus food at bakeries and groceries, and deliver
it to their warehouse. Some of it is on a special basis
(donated equipmt), and the rest is regularly scheduled. The
assignment is based on convenience and normal commuting.
I've found it a perfect excuse to drive Big Mike to work
once every week or two, and to do some good with it !!!! Makes the
restore $$$ easier to justify. (its not for ME).......
Good luck, at least its worth a try with YOUR wife.
