Yep, check the bulbs and wiring. Really check closely the bulb
socket/printed ckt connection, that is where I found trouble on one of my
trucks. Of course, before pulling the dash apart, see if there is voltage
at the field wire (small wire) of the alternator. This should be very close
to battery voltage, if it is like 4 volts, it wont energize the alternator,
and you will have to find the not so good connection in the circuit.
