Hmmm.... Maybe it's time to ask Arthur to set up a new list for the Big
Serious vendors, collectors and restorers to have for themselves. You know,
one where us unobservant, stupid "neophytes" with their ignorant "mundane"
questions wouldn't be allowed on to bother exalted vendors, restorers and
collectors. Then we would only spend our money with vendors who would stoop
so low as to deal with us "neophytes" and their substandard questions and
inferior money, vendors who don't have superiority complexes, who haven't
made it over the years taking money from us "neophytes".
But Jonathan, you could be right, he may be having a bad day, seeing
that he's been in the hobby so long and all. My Mom gets cranky when her
Depends is put on too tight or doesn't get changed often enough. How about
they name the new list "The Big, Serious-Military Vehicle Collector List".
Yeah, that would work, The BS-MV Collector list. Sounds kind of exclusive,
don't ya think? What do you think all? Let these BS collectors alone like
they deserve. Special areas at flea markets, maybe. How about an official
make and model of car for them to drive? Crown Vics, Cadillac STS? Any
candidates out there folks? The nominations are open.
