I saw a Whadahellizatthing today. It's Russian, that's about all the guy I
was with could tell me (or would tell me!) It's tracked, reeeaalll long, has
a cab that looks like it came from a Studebaker US-6, enclosed body behind
the "cab" and possibly amphibious. also sitting next to this beast were a
couple of ZIL's (or GAZ) 6X6's and ohyeah a ZSU? (you know, one of those
tracked 4 barrelled anti aircraft thingys!). Hmm what else, an M-42? Duster
that's been sitting for a few years, I was asked if I could "make it run so
we can get it to the yard before it gets blowed up". My response was "show
me how to drive the M-113 and we'll TOW IT!! (just how do you start an M-113
anyway?) and lots of "other stuff" that we're trying to save from the
scrappers torch/target range.
