The original book, "Away All Boats," Kenneth Dodson, was written as juvenile
fiction and covers an APA, the USS Belinda during the Pacific war. It's
quite a good read even for adults.
I originally read it many years ago. It was recently republished in
paperback
and Amazon carries it in hardcover.
