Christmas is killing me

Hi list,
By the time I have a few minutes to myself lately I'm too darned tired to
compose an interesting Scout update message to the list, so without any
fanfare here are the basics.
(1) All hubs and drums components sandblasted, primed, painted, and
reassembled, one bearing race removed and replaced with new Timken race and
all drums turned; all are ready to go back on the Scout.
(2) All bearings thoroughly cleaned and inspected for deficiencies: one was
replaced; all are ready to go back on the Scout.
(3) Front brakes assembled. All components are new or renewed. Unable to
locate new brake shoe return springs (contemplated this only as a
precautionary measure) so old return springs were reinstalled and seem A-Ok.
Even the guy at Alamo Spring said he'd trust 'em and gave me a company
calender by way of compensation for not having what I needed. (Has some
very sexy babes on it, by the way.) Front brakes are ready to go back on
the Scout.
(4) New front spindle grease seals and new front axle shaft seals arrived
today. Old rear spindle grease seals should provide enough clues to permit
me to find replacement seals locally.
(5) Disassembly of my vacuum brake booster confirms that it is shot.
Looking for an NOS booster (any clues as to where I might find one, folks?)
(6) Wife procured a complete set of repro data and nomenclature plates for
the dash of the Scout. (VERY COOL!) Christmas came a little early.
(7) Was pleased to find an NOS Zenith model 29 sidedraft carb is available
and may buy one rather than struggle to rebuild mine with (reportedly) no
rebuild kits available.
(8) New baby is fine but can't get him to burp worth a damn so he is
irritable after every feeding and this is a problem in the wee hours of the
morning. (This kid hangs on to his gas like it was gold!)
That's it.
