Folks, the M-79 Grenade launcher was a shoulder fired, single shot, Break
open. 40mm Grenade launcher. It looked like a BIG shotgun. IT was carried by
2 legged MV,s. IT is not a issue item as it was replaced by the M-203.
The M-203 is mounted under the M-16 rifle. Its attached to the barrel of
the rifle, you use a 30 round Magazine as the pistol grip to fire the
weapon.The barrel moves forward to load it. Looks just like a barrel and
trigger without a stock. It is a single shot. IT too is carried by the 2
legged MV.
