I am looking for a TM on the following trailer, as well as personal
recollections, if any.
The trailer in question is a "Trailer, cargo: 1 1/2 ton, Engineer model
78-8920.750-100; with hydraulic tailgate".
It looks like a normal M105 with a "Tommy Lift." It is shown in illustration
number 97 of the SC-2300-IL. Dad has one of these trailers, missing the part
of the tailgate that folds down (the tailgate itself). Most of the lift
mechanism is present. The photograph in the Supply Catalog makes it look
like the tailgate itself is made of wood reinforced with angle iron. Does
any one no if this supposition is correct?
Any idea what these were used for?
Any help appreciated,
Sincerely,
David Doyle
