We conducted the cold weather test on the M-113 at the Artic Test Board,
Fort Greely, Big Delta, Alaska in 1956 and 1957. At that time, the standard
Army tracked personnel carrier was the M-59 that used two GM engines.
Didn't even see another M113 until I went to Vietnam in 1967.

Dear Listers..
I'm out of my depth here, but I'm confident that there's someone on the
lists
that can help.... here goes.....
Can anyone tell me when the M113 was introduced, please?
Same goes for the updated models, M113A1, M113A2 and M113A3......
Any help will be very much appreciated.....
Kind regards..
Ken
