Hello,
I am new to surplus mil vehicles and hope that my questions don't bore
much. I have had a look in the archive and hope that some of you can help
out some more. I live in the wooods in new mexico and need a vehicle for a
snow plow and general hard work and understand the M35 is an excellent
candidate. can anyone advise on

1. how big of a shop door do I need to accomadate an m35?
2. what is a good range to pay at auction?
3. what do i look for on inspection that might be unique to these trucks?
I understand that you can drive them forward & backward, but thats the
extent. any checkout techniques you guys have under these constained
conditions?
4. I intend to drive a vehicle home after auction (if i win the bid),
anything to look out for here? what about documentation?
5. Insurance comments? I have inquiries in with my agents, no response yet.
6. registration in NM ? anyone have experience

Any eye opening experiences when you folks started out would be nice to
hear. These M35s sound almost too good to be true, a bit like the jeep
rumor. whats the catch?

Many thanks
