How To :----- Unsubscribe from the list ???

Dear Listers, for the sake of one of my Dutch friends who is having trouble
sending mail (but not receiving it), can someone just run through the
procedure to un- subscribe from the List?

Is it just the ONE word ? and does it go in the "SUBJECT" line or the "BODY
OF THE MESSAGE" area....
