Sealed halogen head light beams for MUTT

I have just bought a pair of 24 volts sealed head lamp beams for my 1984
MUTT. Did halogen sealed beams come as OE on MUTTs? If not, is there a need
now to modify anything in the electrical system- like installing a head
lamp relay system? The present head lamp beams on my MUTT are non-sealed
types and have ordinary bulbs.

Please advise!
