Generally, the passenger side is the unit and the driver's side is the
vehicle number or "road march" number.

It appears as though your truck was used by different units, this is not
uncommon. Particularly if the last military user was a Reserve Component
unit.

Upright Triangle - Armor, with "107," 107th Armored (but also can be Armored
Cavalry) - in either case, definately National Guard.

AVN - Aviation the "R" prefix suggests "Ranger," but Rangers go with
Infantry, not armor.

321 - Most likely the vehicle number, although it seems too high. Perhaps it
is 3-21 which sounds more plausible.

It is possible that your vehicle belonged to multiple units or it belonged
to a Ranger Detatchment that was with a an Aviation unit of 107th Armored
Division.

I'd really have to do some research on this one to know anything for sure.

There is an incomplete webpage at:
http://www.vanbrinkerhoff.com/mil/bumper.html that provides a link to an
official US Army guide to applying numbers.
