To CDL or not to CDL that is the question

Fellas,

WARNING!

DO NOT confuse different sections of law. For example, here in Texas,
registration law has very little or no bearing on laws concerning driver's
licenses or laws concerning maximum allowable weights, etc, etc.

And, here in Texas, there are different classes of drivers licenses and
different classes of commercial driver's licenses. Your state may be
slightly different or completely different.....but if you are properly
qualified and licensed in your home state, you can drive anywhere in the
remaining states. (There IS such a thing as an Interstate Compact.)

Go to your local driver's license office and ask them, but give them ALL the
information on what you are intending to do.....I'm not saying you won't get
a correct answer from the list, but if you find yourself on the broken end
of a bottle, how do you explain to the nice policeman where you got your
information?
