Allen, I toasted the electronic flasher on a trail ride and needed a
replacement. I hooked up a standard 12 volt flasher (a couple bucks from
the local parts store)using some short lengths of wire and crimp on
connectors. It wasn't pretty but the flashers worked. Using a 12 volt
flasher on a 24 volt system resulted in the the turn signal staying lit a
long time, then off for a short time but cars following get the picture.
If you are running 12 volts, then a little duct tape to keep it all
together and it would work indefinitely. Just be sure to hide it up under
the dash out of harms way.
