MV] Cadmium/Chromium plating

Lost the original post, was it Cadmium or Chromium
plating that was needed to be removed?

I seem to remember seeing Chrome in the original posting.
What would be used to remove chrome besides reverse electroplating
or sand blasting/grinding?
