TM 9-2320-361-10 (M44A2 SERIES) (December 1988) Section 2-23, pg 2-93 says
"Don't tow with wheels (front or rear) off ground,notify your supervisor."
and " Do not push a disabled vehicle. Use the towing procedure only." It
then goes on in para.'s a,b and c, to explain how to hook up tow bar for
flat tow.
