Ok I just found a WWII jerry can ("It was a cold n stormy night....") NO
really this one is dif. It is of two piece construction (US and Brit are
3 piece?) with the small cam latch lid off set onto one half, the sides
have an "X" for strength and the sides have a 15 degree bevel then
rounded onto the flat ends. No markings of any kind, no dates, no
trident, nothing. Is this a WWII German gas can and any clue as to how
to tell the dif? K
