MARK,
HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR TRUCK! HERE ARE SOME THOUGHTS ON YOUR QUESTIONS.

<< It has a heater, but I am wondering will I freeze =
from the breeze (It has a canvas top) or will the heater be sufficient to =
 keep me warm.=20

TAKE A ROLL OF DUCT TAPE TO SEAL AROUND THE WINDOW...OFTEN THE RUBBER HAS DRY
ROTTED AND LETS A COOL BREEZE INTO YOUR LAP. MAKE SURE CAB CANVAS IS SECURE
ACROSS BACK OF CAB (COLD BREEZE UP BACK). THE HEATER IS ALMOST USELESS
UNLESS YOU HAVE A WINTER FRONT ON THE RADIATOR TO RESTRICT THE AIR FLOW.
WINTER FRONTS ARE AVAILABLE FROM A NUMBER OF SURPLUS DEALERS, AND ARE CHEAP.
IF YOUR TRUCK DOES NOT ALREADY HAVE THE LOOPS AROUND TO HANG IT ON, A "FIELD
EXPEDIENT" WOULD BE TO CUT A PIECE OF CARDBOARD TO BLOCK AIRFLOW. BE SURE
AND MONITOR TEMPERATURE OF ENGINE AND DO NOT OVERHEAT.

Other questions concern the front end. It is a non-air shift (sprag?).=20
Are the front wheels driving all the time? Is it expensive to convert to =
 Air-shift?=20
Would I gain enough in drivability to justify it?=20 I HAVE BOTH TYPES OF
TRUCKS, THEY DRIVE THE SAME TO ME. THE IMPORTANT STEP TO REMEMBER IS WHEN
CHANGING DIRECTION FROM REVERSE TO FORWARD, ALWAYS MOVE THE SELECTOR LEVER
THROUGH FIRST GEAR, EVEN IF YOU DON'T ACTUALLY DRIVE IN FIRST GEAR.
