On military vehicles..floor mats are generally not used..but...what we do
here is this.. Buy the heavy p/u truck bed mats with straight lines..no
fancy stuff - K-Mart has them for about $40. Make a pattern of the floor
from a piece of cardboard. Cut the mat to fit. They are tough as rhino skin
and can be lifted out to wash. They keep the sound down extremely well. They
also help to keep the heat in . Not to mention, they look darn nice.. Gene
