You do not technically require a CDL by the Fed Book if registered as an
antique. BUT!!! This is generally up to local, State, County, Etc. Safety
departments<The Officer's definition who is standing outside your window
delaying you is what counts seeing as we generally don't outrank them (Smile
and be polite!! IT HELPS LOTS!!!) > and when you hand him a CDL license

tells the Officer you know what you are doing.
Believe me it don't hurt at all even though you may not technically be
required to have a CDL to have it. Saves a lot of time.
