CHASSIS SIZE DIFFERENCE ???

Hello List: I just picked up a chassis with springs and axles attached. The
previous owner said it was from a '53 jeep.

I have a '47 CJ2A with a bad chassis/frame

Now, I've heard that the 2a jeep tub wont fit the 53 frame??

Questions.
Does anyone know just exactly what will be difference??
Is there any difference??

I can heat bend weld and rebuild if necessary.
Obviously "originality" would be out of the question, at this point.
