I appreciate all the replies on the truck, i'll have to take a ride up to
the depot and take a look at what they have. Basically, our non-profit
search and rescue team was offered a surplus truck, from one of the local
county's SAR team, when they got new trucks, its primary purpose will be
desert SAR, plus we also back up the sheriff's posse on underage drinking
enforcement. I had also forgotten about the 1960's era 1-ton J-300 "grean
beast" that my partner has as his "weekend truck" that thing is the only
vehicle that has gone further in the bush then my cherokee... to pull me
out, of course.
