Jib boom for a medium wrecker

Hey, you guys!

Does anybody know of, or seen, an open framed jib boom attachment used on a
medium wrecker?

I am looking for the type that is detachable. Mainly used for positioning
lighter weight loads, nothing more than around 1000 lbs tops for my use.
Something to be used for positioning angle iron trusses or wooden trusses
for buildings/garages.

Mine is a M936A2 with a two piece boom built by Capitol Wrecker, which was
bought out.

If one was available as an issue accessory/option, I'd like to know about
it. If not, has anyone built one, or had experience with one.

I know about the long boom tractor/wrecker version, but I don't need to go
to that expense. UNLESS, someone happens to have an extra boom assembly
just laying around not being used, and priced ridiculously low, begging to
be put to use.

Anyway, you fellows put your thinking caps on.

I was once told by a 'Nam vet "recovery specialist', that they had a fold
over jib on their wrecker. They used it for extra reach out over the
paddies. He didn't say whether it was an issue type item or an item of
their own making.

Thanks

John Doherty
