Thanks for the feed back, to answer the most pressing question; the
book retails for $80.00, and is available from: the Squadron mail order
hobby shop, their E-MAIL address is: mailorder@squadron.com , currently
they have the book on sale for $68.00.
To Pike I don't have / or know the where abouts of any tracks
presently. I sold my half-track so I don't need any parts right now, but
I'm already eyeing a couple of half-tracks I'd like to buy (it's all
about money, you know?),
but maybe I'll need some soon I'll post a message if I aquire one.
To Nigel; Yes you can reprint the article for your magazine, just be
aware these are my own observations/opinions and I don't claim to be an
expert on half-tracks. I just like them and study pictures and read
about them and have restored one, and these comments are just my
opinions. But I believe them to be factual.
( M16's are way cool! )
To Rob; Yes the book has some excellent pictures of International
half-tracks ordance type pictures including interior shots (all really
good stuff ), but only in American service, still a picture is worth a
thousand words. Good luck on your restoration!
