In Masachusetts, near Taunton, there was a POW camp which mainly held Italian
POWs as I remember. The huts were still standing until 5 +/- years ago. The
really interestingthing was this camp was built in the center of a maze of
roads, all curved and hidden from each other by brush. It was really easy to get
lost. And why would one want to go there now? It was the location of the State
property disposal system, where all the educational and other agencies could get
everything from electronics to trucks of all ilks to medical equipment and just
about anything else. And I mean everything.
