I wonder if part of the problem is that all the Korean War
movies seem to have disappeared from the broadcast media. As
a kid in the early 50s, I remember scads of them. My family
always went to the local drive-in that showed The Bridge at
To Ko Ri, and all those movies with Aldo Ray, and many others
based on the Korean War. What happened to all of them? The
current generation never sees anything other than MASH, and
so has no curiosity about the Korean War.
