I looked at the can in question on e-bay, it IS A GENUINE Marine gas can
NOT a current U S Metal Containers product. Read the whole description
it says who the manufacturer is, but the biggest give-away is the pour
spout, these all have the same type spout as found on the German &
British "Jerry cans" not the screw on type found on US Army cans, the
one on e-bay has the "German" type pour spout.
Now the question is do you really want to spend $75+ dollars on it? I
own 5 of these cans and I paid as much as $35 for a practically perfect
one and $10 dollars for one with some minor rust holes in the bottom.
