Woodworm

Ladies and Gentlemen of the lists....

Having heard the many offers of advice for varied problems... I have what
could well be a new topic...

I've just started working on my Bedford OYD cab... it's off the chassis,
tipped onto its back, all the floor panels have been removed, likewise the
instruments, doors and wiring loom (the loom still had it's original paper
inspection label from the factory on it). I've cleaned most of the loose
rust off the cab and flaking paint, found 3 small areas requiring welding
attention, which wont represent too much of a problem... unfortunately I
have also found that one of the timber cross members for the floor of the
cab has got several woodworm holes in it... I cant tell if this is new or
old worm, however, regardless I need to do something about it. removing the
wood and replacing it isnt particularly practical. Is there a good solution
or product anyone can recommend that will ensure that I dont get any worm
problems in the future.

Many thanks

Tim

Ps - If anyone's interested in any pictures of the OY cab, in this
disassembled state please let me know
