Kenny,

Yes...I agree...but you must know....as I am a retired Police Officer....it
is in the training.........that is where it happens...I see it every
day.......the young Turks...who pledge the "its us against them"
mentality........It is pervasive throughout Law Enforcement today...Local
and Federal........Sprit of the law is thrown out the door...its bad for
everyone.

I have a friend on a local department..Supervising Road Patrol
Deputy........was ordered to give a less than proficient 3 month rating to
a deputy....his tally for this period...solved and made arrests in three
burglaries....caught and arrested 2 subjects in the act of another
burglary...and his crime....not writing enough tickets......Less than
Proficent!!!!!! What the hell are his supervisors talking
about........?????????????? My friend did not want to give him the rating
so he was ordered to......this is just plain wrong...and is not uncommon,
from what I am told.....

I had the CID-BATF-FBI you name it..up my butt for 5 months......because
they didnt believe that someone could own an armored vehicle....and that
the Army had given it to me........even with bullet proof
paperwork.......they jacked me around and held my track for 5
months...finally my lawyer stepped in.....

Disgusted...yes..I am....and ashamed of some of my brothers........

Just my opinion....

Jon
