my rant for what it's worth
i would think that if the local PD in ANY jurisdiction was paying the attention
that they should a trip by a local collector with a LEGALLY REGISTERED / TAGGED
/ INSURED vehicle shouldn't get a second look.
if however the local PD doesn't pay attention to what it's citizens do than i
can see the surprise situation.
with my unarmed 1/2 track i never get a second look yet from PD in the +-10
jurisdictions i have driven through.
however when i get my M8 on the road with registered gun the local PD will know
about it because they have singed paper work for it.
at that point i better not have any problems, since i will have a LEGALLY
REGISTERED / TAGGED / INSURED vehicle. i hate to think i will have to spend all
my time out on the side of the road explaining myself to various PD'S just
because my collector car is not a model T.
