Heck, just slather the terminals and clamps with grease...all you are trying
to do is to keep the sulfuric acid vapors from getting to the lead
terminals.
Go to your local West Marine and check out their terminal clamp
selection. 5 years ago I picked up a set of brass terminal clamps that
bolted onto the post with 3 set screws. after you got them on, you hooked up
your grease gun to the zerk on the clamp and pumped it full of grease until
it came out the bottom. When I changed out the battery last fall, the posts
were nice and shiny when I pulled off the terminals and wiped off the
grease. Used them over again on the new battery.
