       All Ford frame numbers including the civilian autos should, if done
to Ford policy, have stars at each end. GPW motor numbers started at *
GPW-1 * on Jan 15, 1942.

     Motor SN is stamped on the frame on one side for the first series and
on the other side for the second series.

     GPA motor numbers are stamped on the frame also as on the GPW.
