With a lot of help from a friend, the hub on
the rear of the M37 was swapped out.
We swapped bearings and races around,
adding to the fun.
Had a few questions after this:
In the TM, it states that the outter most seal
on the rear-end (between where the axle bolts
to the flange on the hub) should be replaced.
This one appeared to be ok. Is this a known place
of failure and should be replaced anyhow?
Does the front-end use the same 2 9/16" socket
to remove the bearing tensioners up there? Also,
mine has lockouts on it... will that complicate
matters when I go to replace the front bearings or
will they slide right out?
Thanks,
John
