Just got a little one sheet thing in the mail the other day from some outfit
called "Government Liquidation". As many of us know, Levy/Latham took over
a part of the surplus disposal system. There were rumors from the L/L store
I've been going to that they were working on taking over vehicles as well.
So now I get this flyer, here is the bulk of the text from it, note the
fourth paragraph in particular.

Dear Valued Customer:

It is our pleasure to announce that recent union of two leaders in the U.S.
Government surplus disposition industry.

Levy/Latham Globbal, formerly a SurplusBid Company has joined forces with
Liquidation.com, creating the worlds largest marketplace for U.S. Government
surplus: Government Liquidation.

This merger represents not only a new name but a broader inventory, more
locations and greater opportunities for surplus buyers worldwide.

With the recent award of the Commercial Venture 2 Contract (CV2), Government
Liquidation will maximize its combined resources to offer additional Federal
Supply Classification Codes (FSCs) of surplus generated by the Department of
Defense through the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS). The
new categories of surplus include: aircraft & ground support equipment,
medical and dental equipment, vehicles & vehicular parts, textiles and
furniture, to name a few.

stuff deleted>

Sincerely,

The Government Liquidation Team
