Small correction on the Volvo Jeep subject. The Volvo L3314N (N for "Norge"-Norway in Swedish) uses the Volvo B18 engine, not the B16. The B16 was used in the 1959 pre-production series of 91 trucks (L2304), but when production (L3314) began in 1961 the B18 was one of the modifcations introduced. Others included 12 volt electrics, bigger tyres, redesigned bumpers + more.
In Sweden the L3314 Laplander (Volvo official designation) was commonly called "Valp"=puppy in Swedish. In Norway the L3314N used by the Norwegian army goes by the nickname "Felt"-short for "Feltvogn"-that could (freely) translate as "Offroad-truck".
