NOS M151 gearbox commissioning question.......

Dear All,

Having just come into possession of an NOS gearbox ($75 bucks seemed a good
price), I am driven to ask if there is a commissioning procedure and, if
so, what is it?

Was there a storage medium inside, or is it just straight GO?
